Potter Clarkson is delighted to announce the relocation of its Stockholm office to new and larger premises.
The new office, at Vasagatan 7 in the heart of Stockholm, represents a significant increase in the firm’s presence in the city, and will provide a platform for further growth of our local service offering. The office will be permanently-manned, and the opening team is led by Simon Curtis, a Partner and patent attorney in the Chemistry team, who relocates from Nottingham to take the reins in January 2019. Simon is joined by Associate Chris Cadman, also a patent attorney in the Chemistry team and the team is looking for local recruits.
Commenting on the news, Simon said:
In recent years, our team has been dedicated to visiting our ever-expanding client base in Scandinavia, about half of which is presently in the Stockholm region. Their workload has grown quickly so the natural next step for us was to establish a full-time presence here in Stockholm. This move gives us the ideal platform to grow our presence in Sweden further and serve its hugely vibrant community of new and rapidly growing technology businesses."
The firm has worked with companies in Scandinavia for over 30 years, establishing itself as a trusted advisor to clients of all sizes.
Recent years have seen the firm expand significantly in Scandinavia, with the opening of new offices in Lund and Stockholm in 2016 and Copenhagen earlier this year. Each of these offices is ideally located to enhance the service the firm provides to companies in multiple sectors across the region.
Potter Clarkson Managing Partner, Colin Baker, added:
Our firm has worked with clients in Sweden and Denmark for over 30 years and the new offices in Stockholm and Copenhagen will help meet the growing client demand for our commercially focussed advice and IP services.”
