Potter Clarkson is delighted to have been shortlisted in three categories in the Managing IP Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Awards 2019.
Managing IP is one of the key directories and sources of intellectual property (IP) news worldwide, with the awards recognising remarkable achievements and developments in the IP field over the past 12 months.
The firm has been shortlisted for best firm in the “Trade Mark Prosecution” and “Patent Contentious” categories, in recognition of its expertise in its traditional prosecution field, as well as in the firm’s newer, litigation practice.
Furthermore, Potter Clarkson has also been nominated as the sole UK firm in the prestigious “Firm to Watch” (Europe) category, a fantastic endorsement of the firm’s continued growth following recent office openings in London, Sweden and Denmark.
Commenting on the news, managing partner, Steve Smith, says:
These nominations are testament to the calibre of our multidisciplinary team and our mixed-practice approach, whereby attorneys, attorney litigators and intellectual property solicitors work side-by-side. We are particularly proud of our growing reputation as a European firm to watch. While the present uncertainty surrounding Brexit is unhelpful for many IP firms and clients, as a full service, pan-European IP firm, with offices in the UK, Germany, Denmark and Sweden, Potter Clarkson is well placed to deal with all the associated IP implications that arise, both in the UK and overseas."
With these latest recognitions from Managing IP, clients can be confident Potter Clarkson can fully service both their legal and non-legal IP needs through a well-coordinated, bespoke, multi-disciplinary team of attorneys and solicitors, ensuring that all strategic, technical, legal and procedural issues are dealt with by leading legal and scientific experts.
The awards ceremony takes place at the Savoy hotel in London on 7 March. The full awards shortlist can be found here.
