Kate Marrs

Associate - IP Solicitor

Kate joined Potter Clarkson as an associate in the litigation and licensing team in 2023, having previously specialised in litigation, arbitration, investigations and regulation at large global firms.

Kate has worked across a wide range of sectors, and has experience working on large, multijurisdictional, and often high-profile High Court litigation as well as contract drafting and advisory work.

 

Education

Kate graduated from her LLB law degree at the University of Sheffield in 2017, before completing her LPC MSc in law, business and management at the University of Law in Birmingham in 2018. Kate qualified as a solicitor in 2020.

Interests

Outside of work, Kate enjoys travelling, live music, festivals, netball, and exploring independent bars, cafés and restaurants. She is also very proud of her ragdoll cat - Martin.
