Senior Associate - Trade Mark Attorney

Keeley joined Potter Clarkson in 2023, after having previously worked for several years at Wildbore & Gibbons, which became part of Potter Clarkson on 1 September 2018.

Keeley is an experienced Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and has worked with a broad range of clients ranging from large multi-national corporations to start-ups and entrepreneurs. She has advised celebrities in the entertainment industry and worked with some household names within the fashion and food and drink sectors. Keeley has experience in advising them on all aspects of trade mark management, prosecution and enforcement including resolving contentious matters and negotiating settlement agreements.

Keeley has significant experience in devising international filing strategies, handling IPO objections and resolving third-party oppositions. She also has experience of handling trade mark infringement claims at the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court.

Keeley is a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) and is on their panel of volunteers, offering free advice to members of the public. She is also part of the Postgraduate Law Professional Mentoring Programme at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London where she mentors LLM students and helps support and prepare them for the transition from studying to working within the IP sector. Keeley is also a keen member of a number of innovation groups and regularly speaks on the topic of IP.

Education

Keeley graduated from the University of Reading with an honours degree in law and subsequently obtained a PGCert in Trade Mark Law and Practice at Queen Mary University of London and a PGCert in Trade Mark Practice at Nottingham Trent University. She qualified as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in 2014.
