An experienced trade mark attorney with over 10 years’ in the industry, Chris has a particular interest in and focus on brand strategy and management.

Chris has worked on a variety of projects for a wide range of clients, from individuals and SMEs to large corporates. Chris advises clients on the full scope of their trade mark matters, from preliminary research and clearance through to the prosecution and enforcement of trade mark rights both in the UK, Europe and overseas. 

He previously worked as a trade mark administrator at Potter Clarkson before joining Wildbore & Gibbons in 2010, which subsequently became part of Potter Clarkson in September 2018.

Chris is also a member of the firm’s Inclusivity Group. The Group is committed to help drive the necessary change to ensure that Potter Clarkson provides a highly supportive, inclusive and stimulating workplace for all its people.

Education

Chris obtained a BSc in audio and recording technology at De Montfort University in 2007. He completed the trade mark administrators course in 2009. He obtained his Postgraduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law in 2015 and his Postgraduate Certificate in Trade Mark Practice in 2016.
